1. Scope
This Policy applies to all reservations
- made:Directly with The Fawn Cottage via phone, email, in person, or through our official website (“Direct Bookings”); and
- Via online travel agency (OTA) platforms such as [OTA EXAMPLES, e.g., Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia] (“OTA Bookings”).
2. Reservation Guarantee
All bookings require a valid credit card or advance payment to confirm the reservation. Reservations are only guaranteed upon receipt of booking confirmation from The Fawn Cottagel or OTA.
3. Cancellation Policy
(a) Direct Bookings:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund of any advance payment made.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in, or in case of no-show, will forfeit the full booking amount.
b) OTA Bookings:
- The cancellation policy displayed on the respective OTA platform at the time of booking applies.
- If no cancellation policy is stated, the above Direct Booking policy applies.
4. Early Departure & No-Show
- If a guest fails to check in (no-show) or departs earlier than the scheduled check-out date, the full reservation amount is non-refundable.
- Once checked in and rooms are accessed, no refund will be provided for early departure unless otherwise stated in the individual booking agreement.
5. Refunds
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days, subject to deductions as per this policy.
- No refunds will be considered for dissatisfaction or complaints raised after check-out, unless verified as a service failure by The Fawn Cottage’s management.
6. Guest Conduct and Issues
- Guests are responsible for informing TFC’s staff promptly of any dissatisfaction or issues with rooms or services during their stay.
- The TFC will make reasonable efforts to resolve reported issues. Refunds or compensation will only be considered if the TFC is unable to resolve a legitimate complaint raised during the stay.
7. Duplicate or Technical Error Booking
- In the case of an inadvertent duplicate or technical error booking, the guest must notify TFC or OTA prior to check-in to be eligible for cancellation or refund consideration.
- Requests for refunds due to technical errors made after check-in or after rooms have been accessed will not be honored.
8. Amendments
- The TFC reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. The applicable policy will be the version in force at the time of booking.
